ME Career Coaching is a business that provides career coaching services for people who want to get started, change or advance their careers, but find themselves challenged and disillusioned by their professional work journeys.
We create a safe and supportive space adhering to the ethical guidelines and principles of Client anonymity as set out by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Our coaches are accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) which governs professional coaching competency frameworks, coaching practice and the required supervision to meet the stated coaching professional standards. Clients are therefore able to put themselves into qualified and experienced coaching hands and can make progress in measurable strides forward through “self-concept” discovery, bespoke career construction processes and professional identity uplift to reach their full potential in their professional work journey.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is critical to the coaching relationship. The coaching sessions are strictly confidential. Any subject discussed and/or items shared, including such things as personal information, future plans, proprietary information, goals, job and company information, recordings (where required by clients), notes of sessions (where agreed with clients), transcripts will remain confidential within ME Career Coaching. We will not seek to share information outside our company unless you give us permission to for example publish a testimonial or subscribe to a blog item in your name. It’s important to note that from time to time your coach will share anonymous portions of your situation, as a given with other coaches and with formal supervision to obtain feedback, reflection and to share the continuous updating of coaching methods and compliance to the EMCC coaching framework principles to serve you better.
Coaching plans, services and contract
ME Career Coaching provides a number of tailored and focused options for Clients to engage in Career Coaching with us. There are package based Coaching plans and also more focused Coaching services. All the unique bespoke models and Coaching interventions, underpinning your choice, are the property of ME Career Coaching and are used to facilitate your career journey.
According to the plan you have chosen, each will have a number of hours allocated. In general, the coaching sessions will last for one hour each unless the Coach agrees with you that the sessions can be more or less than that during the first engagement session. Each session will start and end promptly and therefore if there are particular areas, as you progress, that you wish to focus on following a previous session, you may need to prepare some homework to maximise the benefit of the time with your coach. It is also important that if want to share some of this before the session the coach will pick it up on the email provided and therefore can be better prepared for the next session.
This is not to say that you can continuously engage with your coach outside the sessions, we will do as best as we can given that good will and best practice is always followed by ME Career Coaching. When you sign up for a plan or a coaching service your coach will schedule a single meeting or a recurring set according to the plan you choose and space them out evenly within the duration of the Coaching period and contract. You coach will guide you through all of the steps.
The sessions will be via video on Microsoft Teams, the session links will be sent to you before the single meeting or set out for the agreed range of timings in the first engagement. In some cases, the online video capability may be disrupted and in such circumstances it may be necessary to call you on the phone to re-convene the online session, you will need to supply a number to call in order to enable this. You must also check your own technical connectivity and online capability before we can proceed with any virtual session to ensure as low a risk as possible to session abandonment.
The ME Career Coaching coaches will always check with you before and after virtual sessions that you are or were feeling comfortable, safe, secure and have been in an un-interrupted place where you can be fully engaged with your sessions.
Some sessions can be planned face-to-face in the session room at ME Career Coaching however these are subject to you being able to travel. Other sessions can be by phone call, however to get the best out of your coaching, working with the career models and the online interactive process used by ME Career Coaching, the work would be limited by phone.

ME Career Coaching has been working with many wonderful clients and helping them fulfil their aspirations and it is true to say all of you are unique in your own right and looking for solutions to your own set of personal statements and needs. ME Career Coaching has understood the landscape regarding the needs people have to change their life outcomes and follow a career that is worthwhile and meaningful for them. Therefore ME Career Coaching, through academic research and career focused studies, has created special services and start-to-finish model based plans that lead you through this challenging, difficult and yet rewarding coaching process.
We always seek to understand your own particular personal statement as this is very important start point to the Coaching relationship with us and will be covered in the first session or the free 30 minute call. At certain points in the coaching plans process it is important to reflect back to the personal statement to ensure your needs are being fulfilled and where appropriate make those jointly agreed adjustments. To complete each session the coach will check to make sure you are comfortable and engaged with the process.
A significant part of ME Career Coaching is focused on your personal psychology and the concept of self and identity, this means that we use narrative methods to discover aspects of Self that may be preventing you from achieving your aspirations and holding you back, these can be blockers or even sub-conscious negatively focused behaviours you may have adopted over time, that you find difficult to change. Whatever the outcome in this area we will always seek to develop a trusted secure bounded space where you can feel free to share and discuss insight with total anonymity and confidentiality, it is always better to be open in order to see into the whole holistic view of oneself to be able to accept that a changed or new career path is indeed possible. If however, within the session you feel uncomfortable or need to take a break please just tell the Coach and they will absolutely understand, the Coaching relationship is important to us and your needs will always come first.
ME Career Coaching is focused on Coaching you to set yourself up for success. The work to achieve change can be tough at the start however you will become empowered and confident as you progress through the sessions and will see the advantage of the two-way Coaching relationship to support you forwards, we help and support you with our trained and accredited methods to achieve the answers to decisions, create enlightenment and put in place the actions you will need to personally embrace and take forward.
PURCHASING PLANS & SERVICES
Purchasing ME Career Coaching plans and services (time periods, pausing (life events), coaching is not currency
When purchasing plans or services it is important to ensure you are fully committed to working with the Coach to achieve your outcomes. To
RE-SCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
When purchasing ME Career Coaching plans and services it is important for you to have made that conscious decision to take on the Change and Coaching process and be fully committed to working with your assigned Coach. Coaching is not a currency and when you seek the benefits of a strong and personally focused Coaching service, with trained experts, it is provided to trigger and move you forward with your professional life in order to achieve the career transition or change that is going to make a significant difference to you.
Changes and cancellations with any of your Plans or Services bookings is subject to acceptable time periods. If you wish to re-schedule a booking please email xxx@mecareercoaching.com with your full name seven days or more before your next appointment so that a new slot can be accommodated and booked. The Coaches work to a scheduled week in advance therefore making changes in the short term is often not possible. You may also experience a delay in the re-booking of a new time slot and need to wait for new appointment slots to become available in some cases. However, in special life event circumstances oawewe can accommodate session changes within the seven day time period, please email us marking the email for urgent attention.
If you wish to pause a purchased plan this is also possible however you must do this at least 14 days before your next session as the remaining schedule of sessions will need to be rolled forward and slotted into a new diary profile for agreement jointly. Again, this process must be initiated by email to xxx@mecareercoaching.com
Cancellations, refunds and part refunds are possible however the notice period is 14 days and will need to be supported by a valid life event reason. Cancellations within 14 days will not be considered or refunded, except if cancelling within three days of making the booking. The free 30 minute session with the Coach is designed to help you make the conscious decision to commit and work forward in collaboration with ME Career Coaching.
When you have made the decision that is right for you and committed to take a plan or a Career Service with ME Career Coaching and you do in fact change your mind, you can cancel the plan or Service within three days of having made payment for your first booking with us and you will receive a full refund. Subsequent Services and plans booked after the first one will not fall into this category of refund.
In the event that you or the Coach are unable to make any booked session due to sickness or emergency, email contact is necessary no later than 3 hours in advance so your session is not missed and can be rescheduled. If your appointment is missed without any prior notice by both parties in these circumstances you may not receive a re-scheduled appointment or be considered for a refund.
If your session is subject to online technical or connectivity issues, the session will be abandoned as agreed on both sides and re-scheduled. Depending on where the abandonment issue resides will determine the course of the next session. Continuing issues of this nature requiring further session abandonment will require a review and a re-set of the way forward to keep virtual session in place.
If you have opted for an in-person session then any changes to this will require 14 days notice. Emergency changes in special life circumstances to affect this must be advised as soon as known.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
ME Career Coaching is covered by insurance for Professional Indemnity and Public liability.
TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
Either party may terminate the contract agreement before the expiration of a purchased plan or booked services sessions with written notice to the other party.
Upon the termination, ME Career Coaching will provide to the client a pro-rata refund for any unused parts of a full plan process purchased or full coaching sessions purchased and that remain outstanding.
Termination of the contract does not relieve the client of any financial obligations incurred prior to the termination, nor does it release either party from any confidentiality or intellectual property obligations outlined in this agreement.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By agreeing to these terms and conditions this represents the formal Coaching Contract with ME Career Coaching.
